Staff

  • Founder

    Shameka Wells is the Founder and Principal of SW Consulting, LLC. As a Program Evaluator, she supports organizations leveraging data and program evaluation to make informed and impactful decisions. Dr. Wells has spent most of her career working within higher education and the non-profit sectors to impact health equity on maternal and child health outcomes in the Southeastern region of the United States. She has developed and evaluated programs that focus on interpersonal violence prevention and intervention, advancing educational opportunities for underserved populations, sexual/reproductive health, mental health/substance abuse, and disaster relief.

    Dr. Wells received her Doctorate of Education from Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College of Education and Human Development and her Masters in Public Health from the University of South Carolina’s Arnold School of Public Health. She is trained in qualitative and quantitative data analysis and people-centric program evaluation methods that aim to center the voices of the communities and organizations impacted by her work.
